Opinion: Infant Murder No Different Than Abortion

In Pennsylvania a 26-year-old gave birth in the bathroom of a bar, wrapped her newborn baby in a plastic bag and stuffed it into a toilet tank where it suffocated to death.

Everyone agrees that this act is horrific, and the comments section of each story shows that.

What doesn’t make sense, are the liberals joining the outcry.

Wendy Davis’ loudly praised filibuster against Texas’ law creating an abortion cutoff and raising the safety standards to meet those all other surgical offices must meet showed that liberals do not see a baby as a baby until it has exited the birth canal and they have little care for the safety of the woman.

How arbitrary a criterion; the baby did not change significantly in the moments it took it to move from the womb of its mother the few inches into the space of air between her legs.

Many liberals support late term abortion.

Which would have to mean that if this, and I use to word ‘woman’ very loosely here, had a clothes hangar handy and had punctured the infant’s brain before it made it out, it should be legal and is okay.

But yet, they agree with us, somehow, that suffocating the infant is a horrible act and act indignant when their hypocrisy is exposed.

One comment I saw even argued that we on the right were ridiculous for not seeing a difference in a child just about to be born and one finished being born.

That is because there is no difference, other than a matter of inches.

Abortion is a travesty, legalized murder, and when you devalue one form of life, the others will follow.
