Ondre Pipkins was one of my favorite interviews of the 2016 Texas Tech Football Media Day.

In 2012, Pipkins played 13 games for the University of Michigan, then his time with the Wolverines was derailed by injury and a coaching change. He's had a year in Lubbock to adjust and recover from his injuries and get into great shape for 2016.

Pipkins lists Luke Stice, Keenan Ward and Justis Nelson as the leaders of the defense, as well as all of the starters from 2015 that have returned. He also lists himself and fellow transfer Kolin Hill as "pieces to the puzzle."
