Officers Seek Information in Dumpster Fires

The City of Lubbock is looking at replacing $2,500 worth of dumpsters after they were set on fire Tuesday morning. Investigators say that five dumpsters in the 2100 block of ave. V were set on fire. Investigators believe it occurred between 4 and 6am.

KAMC 28 reports that kids still on break from school are possibly responsible, however no arrests have been made. The crimes are considered a felony. Anyone with information on the fires should call crime line at 741-1000 or the fire marshal’s office at 775-2646.
