The Obama campaign continued to show how out of touch they are today when Stephanie Cutter, Obama's deputy campaign manager, went on CNN. Cutter was being interviewed about the fallout from the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya when she said that the entire reason it's a political topic was because of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. According to the Free Beacon:

STEPHANIE CUTTER: In terms of the politicization of this — you know, we are here at a debate, and I hope we get to talk about the debate — but the entire reason this has become the political topic it is, is because of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. It’s a big part of their stump speech. And it’s reckless and irresponsible what they’re doing.

BROOKE BALDWIN: But, Stephanie, this is national security. As we witnessed this revolution last year, we covered it–

CUTTER: It is absolutely national security–

BALDWIN: –it is absolutely pertinent. People in the American public absolutely have a right to get answers.

Cutter and the Obama campaign/administration obviously doesn't understand that this was a terror attack and it is a big deal. The President spent a week trying to convince people after the attack that it was a video that caused the attack to happen. The White House lied and covered-up the fact that the attack on the U.S. Consulate that killed four Americans including our Ambassador was a terror attack. It is shameful that the Obama campaign is trying to blame Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan for Americans being outraged that their government lied to them.
