On Monday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Dr. Lawrence Dsouza from The Nurturing Center talked with Tom Collins and guest host Sondra Ziegler about alternatives to abortion.

The Nurturing Center is a non-profit organization that provides resources and options for women facing pregnancy. Services range form ultrasounds and pregnancy testing, to counseling, education and limited monetary assistance. Dsouza said the organization is staunchly pro-life, and aims to provide women with alternatives to abortions in a caring, nonjudgmental way.

Dsouza went on to discuss some of the facts behind abortion. He also gave his views on several abortion-related issues like the morning after bill and the failure of the Texas abortion bill in the legislature last week.

The Nurturing Center is located in Lubbock at 3303 66th Street. For more information on all of the services they can provide, call 806-780-6853 or visit their website at nuturinglife.org.
