The Lubbock Metropolitan Planning Organization will hold an open house along with Lubbock District 1 Councilman Victor Hernandez on the third Monday of February 2015.

At the meeting residents will have a chance to converse with LMPO staff and Councilman Hernandez about the proposed Phase III North University Avenue Enhancement Project as well as other LMPO transportation projects.

“We want local residents’ ideas on how they think the project will impact their neighborhoods, as well as how the project will impact pedestrian, bicycle, and ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance,” said Hernandez. “This Open House will be a good opportunity for residents to provide input, ask questions, and to have an open discussion about the Phase III North University Avenue Project.”

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. on Monday, February 16, at Cavazos Middle School.

The project application can be viewed online.
