Tuesday on Lubbock's First News, Fritzi Cates executive director of High Point Village described the fundraiser that will be hosted by McGavock Nissan Dealer.

High Point Village is a community that works with adults with down syndrome and autism. They broke ground on a new enrichment facility in October and hope to add to the facility to provide the best care for patients. Cates said, "Our goal is to create a place where everyone who needs our services can come there and hone their skills and get a job in the community..." The fundraiser will be held at the Nissan car lot, at 6312 Milwaukee Avenue, from 5-7 pm December 17. Nissan will donate $50 to High Point Village for every new car purchased from December 17-January 1.
