A new traffic signal is now fully operational in south Lubbock.

The traffic signal at the intersection of 114th Street and Quaker Avenue has been changed from flashing mode to Green-Yellow-Red operation. Full operation began Monday morning, according to the City of Lubbock.

Message signs alerting motorists were installed last Friday for northbound and southbound traffic.
