Here are just a few things in Chad’s Pile that you will hear on Lubbock’s First News this morning. Give Chad your feedback on the steaming topics.

1. Another Texas data breach (link)

Doesn't it seem as though we are hearing more and more about data breaches? According to the Texas Tribune, another state-wide agency was breached. I'm starting to wonder how many of these breaches are hackers having fun vs people trying to steal your identity. Here is what the Tribune said:

The Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services said today that the personal data of about 4,900 current and former state employees may have been exposed in a security breach.

2. Governor Rick Perry to remain in the spotlight (link)

Texas Governor Rick Perry will be traveling across the U.S. this week. According to Perry's people, these trips have been planned for a while, except for one stop in New York. Perry will be replacing Donald Trump as a speaker in NYC. The other stops include an anti-abortion rally in California and a stop in Louisiana. Man, I'm glad he isn't running for President...

3. Hamas Summer Camp (link)

You read it right. Hamas apparently has Summer Camps and enrollment is at an all-time high. According to reports:

Hamas is reporting record turnouts for its summer camps for children in 2011.

The 'summer camps,' combining Islamic indoctrination, paramilitary training, and social activities are set to begin again this year as United Nation’s summer camps, considered competition by Hamas, are being openly denigrated by jihadists.

Lovely.
