Lubbock Fire Department Names New Deputy Chief

The Lubbock Fire Department has named a new deputy chief following Lance Phelps' promotion to chief in the wake of Chief-emeritus Mike Kemp’s retirement.

Shaun Fogerson is the new deputy chief of operations. He is closing in on his 25^th year of service, having joined in 1992.

Before joining LFD, Fogerson served in the Marine Corps Reserves and served on tours of duty in Desert Shield and Desert Storm, according to LFD.
