New and Expectant Parents Brunch to be Held Saturday

New and expectant parents will have an opportunity this weekend to receive tips and guidance from leading experts.

Covenant Health System and Second Baptist Church will host a New and Expectant Parents Brunch this Saturday.

The brunch will feature pediatrician Dr. Vanessa Dalton, who will give a keynote speech dubbed “What Pediatricians Wish Every Parent Knew.”

Breakout sessions will also be held, and include topics such as breastfeeding basics, safety prevention, what to expect when you get home from the hospital, what to expect when you are expecting, and “Children are a Gift?!”

The event will run from 9 a.m. until noon Saturday at Second Baptist Church, located at 6109 Chicago Avenue.
