Neugebauer: Weiner Should Resign

In recent days, a number of Democrats have called on Rep. Anthony Weiner to resign because of the scandal over lewd pictures.  Republicans, for the most part, have been content to stay on the sidelines, and that includes Lubbock Rep. Randy Neugebauer.  But when asked on Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, Congressman Neugebauer said Weiner should resign.

“I think so,” Neugebauer said.  “I think his credibility has been destroyed.  His own team has turned on him.  I don’t know how he can move forward and effectively represent his district.”

Neugebauer said that because of the scandal, Weiner has been neutralized.
