Neugebauer: Farm Bill Approved by House Ag Committee Will Give Farmers More Flexibility

On Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, Rep. Randy Neugebauer was asked to talk about parts of the farm bill that farmers will like. He said farmers would like the extra flexibility in the bill.
“You know, agriculture is big business,” Neugebauer said. ” It’s extremely big business here in West Texas. Farmers are taking big risks. They’re taking multiple risks – different kinds of crops, different kinds of conditions, whether it’s irrigated, whether it’s dry land. And so I think one of the things they’re going to like about this is we’re going hopefully to give them more flexibility and more choices.”
The bill now goes to the house floor.
