The end of the shuttle program doesn’t mean the end of NASA.  On the other hand, Rep. Randy Neugebauer says we can expect some changes.

“I think one of the things that may be in the future for NASA is some more public/private partnerships, where we see the private sector coming in and working  with NASA for certain space programs that we’ve been doing just through NASA,” Neugebauer said.

Neugebauer said we have received some big dividends from the space program.  But he also said that when the government is borrowing 42 cents for every dollar that’s spent, the country will have to make some tough choices.
