Motorists in Lubbock and the nation are seeing relief at the gas pump.

According to this week’s KFYO News Gas Price Survey, the average price of regular unleaded gas is $3.22 per gallon, a drop of four cents from last week and twenty-seven cents lower than the high of 2013.

The cheapest fuel price found during the survey on Thursday was found at the Alon-7/11 station on 4th and Frankford with regular unleaded gas sold for $3.16 per gallon.

Motorists around Texas are seeing relief at the gas pump as well. AAA Texas reports the average price of retail gasoline is $3.45 per gallon, a drop of eleven cents from last week.

Nationally, the average price of fuel has fallen eight cents to $3.56 cents.
