Moody Gardens To Feature New Pirate Exhibit, Renovated Rainforest Pyramid Exhibit [AUDIO]

On the Tuesday edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Josh Buckley and Syndey O'drobinak from the Moody Gardens talked with Chad Hasty about what's new at the gardens.

The Moody Gardens Theme Park in Galveston, Texas, features a number of different exhibits and attractions contained in three large pyramids: the Aquarium Pyramid, Rainforest Pyramid, and Discovery Pyramid. O'drobinak explained that the Rainforest Pyramid was newly renovated after last year's damaging storms, and gives people the chance to walk around a real rainforest environment, complete with free-roaming birds and monkeys.

Moody Gardens also has a new pirate exhibit that will be arriving in their Discovery Pyramid on March 8th and will run throughout the summer. Buckley explained that the exhibit will feature over 150 artifacts salvaged from an actual sunken pirate ship, including real pirate gold, as well as tell the story of the pirate captain and his crew.
