A mobile center focusing on the needs of veterans will be in the South Plains this week.

The Mobile Vet Center will be conducting Veteran Outreach in Crosbyton on Wednesday, November 2nd from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The center will be at the Crosby County Courthouse, and is open to all veterans, their families, and the public as well.

This event is to provide education about readjustment counseling services, offered at these centers following combat trauma, military sexual trauma, or counseling for families of deceased active duty service members. All assistance with benefits or counseling referrals is free.

The Mobile Vet Center visit is sponsored by the Amarillo Vet Center.
