When Jimmy Buffet wrote the song "Cheeseburger in Paradise," he probably didn't have this cheeseburger in mind.

The Black Bear Casino in Minnesota broke a world record over the Labor Day weekend by cooking up the world's largest bacon cheeseburger. The burger tipped the scales at a whopping 2,014 pounds, over 1 ton, and was roughly 10 feet in diameter.

Black Bear’s burger also included 60 pounds of bacon, 50 pounds of lettuce, 50 pounds of sliced onions, 40 pounds of pickles and 40 pounds of cheese.

An outdoor oven powered by propane torches and 15-foot steel skillets were specially constructed to cook the burger and its bun, provided by Twig Bakery. It took about four hours at 350 degrees to cook the burger, and more than seven hours to bake the bun.

A crane was used to hoist and flip the burger as it was cooked and assembled. When it was finished, the burger was served to guests for free as part of the casino’s Big Burger Bash.

Imagine the side of fires you would get with THAT behemoth burger.

And since we're talking super-sized food, here's a couple of other massive meals that set world records.

World's Largest Pancake: 6,614 pounds, 49 ft. in diameter.
World's Largest Pizza: 26,883 pounds, 122 ft in diameter
World's Largest Taco: 1,654 pounds, 35 ft. long
World's Largest Glass of Beer: 396 gallons, glass measured 8 ft tall, 3 ft wide.
