Mineral Wells Springs Bouncing Back

North Texas mineral baths are starting to make a comeback.

Mineral Well’s baths were legendary in the early 1900’s due to rumored health benefits, but lost popularity after World War II.

The baths drew such famous names as Marilyn Monroe, Clark Gable and Lyndon B. Johnson.

Famous Water Co. is helping to bring back the baths by reviving the well’s long-dormant roots.

The 109-year-old company was purchased 14 years ago and already sells the mineral water under the label “Crazy Water”.

According to owner Carol Elder, the company showed a 45% growth last year.
