Friday on The Chad Hasty Show, Colonel Michael Bob Starr joined the show to talk about his run for the office for District 19 Representative in the U.S. Congress. Starr and Hasty talked about many important issues, and Starr answered questions about issues and why he believes he should succeed the current Representative, Randy Neugebauer.

Among the topics discussed were PAC funding ties to Neugebauer, how the funding possibly affects his campaign, and how it would affect his actions if elected. Starr and Hasty also talked about term limits, women in the draft and in combat, and what separates him from the other candidates in the race.

Regarding questions from some quarters as to Starr's home of origin, and his loyalty to West Texas, it's citizens and values, Starr stated,

This is where we [Starr's wife and family] have chosen to make our home. I could have lived anywhere in the world, and chose to make West Texas our home, because this is the region that we found that holds the same values that we do.
