Meredith Ledbetter Pleads Guilty to 2011 Murder, gets Life in Prison
A Lubbock woman pleads guilty to capital murder for her part in the 2011 deaths of a mother and son.
Meredith Ledbetter pleaded guilty Monday for her part in the death of Joanie Parker in May 2011 where they were gunned down.
Ledbetter’s husband, Casey, killed Derek Hale, then Meredith lured Hale’s mother, Joanie Parker, where she was killed by the Ledbetter’s. Meredith Ledbetter will serve life in prison.
