Friday on Lubbock's First news, Melissa Oakeley, an instructor from 'Talent Plus' joined Tom Collins in the KFYO studio to talk about their Showcase fundraiser coming up on Saturday, June 6th at 7:00 p.m. The Showcase will include performances by local dance and music artists, as well as Lubbock Moonlight Musicals with an excerpt from one of their upcoming shows this Summer. The Showcase takes place at the Lubbock Cooper High School Performing Arts Center.

The evening will also include a pre-show silent auction that will begin at 6:00, and will include not only baskets from local businesses, but a basketball signed by Tubby Smith, as well as a football signed by Kliff Kingsbury.

In business since 1980, Talent Plus is a dance and gymnastics studio, with providing instruction in hip-hop, tap, ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance, for the competitive and non-competitive alike.
