A Lubbock woman will spend the next five years in federal prison for her role in prostituting a minor.

19-year-old Megan Lee Norman received the 5 year sentence following an August 2011 guilty plea on a charge of conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking of a child.

Norman was arrested on March 30th, 2011 by Lubbock police officers, along with 25-year-old Chanze Lamount Pringler. Pringler, along with Norman, operated a prostitution operation in Lubbock which advertised the sexual services of Norman, as well as a 16-year-old female. According to the U.S. Attorney’s office, Norman took pictures of the teenage girl and posted them on the internet to advertise their prostitution services.

Pringler was sentenced in December to 405 months in prison following his conviction by a jury of sex trafficking of a child in August 2011.
