The City of Lubbock plans to hold three open houses for their Public Safety Improvement Project.

The details of new police substations and also a new downtown headquarters for Lubbock Police will be discussed in the three planned open houses and the city will be looking to hear from citizens. The first open house will be held this evening from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the Heritage Middle School, located at 6110 73rd Street.

The city’s proposed project is expected to cost roughly $60 million dollars.
