“I voted for Delwin forever.”

So said Mayor Tom Martin on KFYO, talking about his longtime support of former state representative Delwin Jones.  Jones is attempting a comeback, challenging Charles Perry, who defeated Jones in 2010.  In that race, Martin endorsed Jones.  But on Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, the mayor hinted that that might not happen in 2012.

“I think Rep. Perry has done a good

job and deserves to be re-elected probably,” Martin said.

However, the mayor said he has not made a final decision in the race.
