Matt Mackowiak Talks About New GOP Candidates for President – [INTERVIEW]

As always Mondays on The Chad Hasty Show, GOP strategist Matt Mackowiak joined the show to talk about current political news in the state of Texas and on the national level.

Mackowiak talked about the official entry into the 2016 race by several Republicans. Names entering the race as of today are retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, and Mike Huckabee, former pastor and Governor of Arkansas.

On Doctor Ben Carson's chances in the race, Mackowiak said,

We'll see. Running for President is not easy, even if you're an experienced politician. For someone who has never worked in that way it's a totally new and very challenging enterprise.

Mackowiak and Hasty also discussed the debates continuing in the Texas state legislature, with little time left and many topics of legislation that still need to be completed and sent to the Governor's desk.
