Monday on The Chad Hasty Show, GOP strategist Matt Mackowiak joined the show to discuss current events in politics, with less than 100 days left until the Iowa Caucus.

Mackowiak talked about the possible effects that the attack on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi, Libya may have on Hillary Clinton's presidential run, and the ramifications of her inconsistent communications and testimony about what exactly occurred on September 11, 2012.

Mackowiak and Hasty also discussed the GOP primary process, the leaders and the polls leading into tomorrow night's GOP debate, as well as the possibility of Joe Biden or Elizabeth Warren jumping into The Democratic party's race.

When Hasty asked about the status of Jeb Bush, and how his campaign seems to be losing steam, Mackowiak replied: "I think the odds of Jeb being the nominee are very low. I think they're lower than Trump at this point."

Mackowiak also addressed the likelihood of Donald Trump actually winning the nomination over other Republican candidates.

"I don't think he's going to win Iowa. I think Ben Carson or perhaps Ted Cruz will win Iowa." Mackowiak said, adding: "At the end of the day I remain pretty confident that the anti-Trump vote will consolidate behind someone, and that that vote is larger than the Trump vote."

Mackowiak also spoke about the new Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, talking about how his time at the helm will differ from that of John Boehner.
