With the Iowa caucuses only one week away, Republican strategist and conservative columnist Matt Mackowiak joined The Chad Hasty Show to talk about the primaries for the Republican Party, and shared his thoughts about the leading candidates and their campaigns.

Mackowiak and Hasty also discussed National Review's editorial blast against Donald Trump in his run for the GOP nomination.

About the current standings of the Republican candidates, Mackowiak said,

I'm not one of these people who think the [Republican] nomination's been determined already. Iowa and New Hampshire are pretty big hurdles, and I think there's a lot of uncertainty in both cases right now.
