Monday on The Chad Hasty Show, Matt Mackowiak joined Chad by phone to talk about the latest in politics, particularly the recent Republican and Democratic debates and primary contests.

When asked by Hasty if he thinks Bernie Sanders has a chance at taking down Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primaries, Mackowiak replied, "I don't think he has a relatively good shot at being the nominee, but I do think he has a good shot of winning New Hampshire [primary] almost for sure, and then I think he probably has a 50/50 chance of winning Iowa [primary].

Hasty and Mackowiak also discussed last week's Republican debate, and the growing feud between candidates Ted Cruz and Donald Trump. About Trump's conservative record, Mackowiak said,

Trump's been liberal most of his adult life on most issues, particularly social issues, and he used those words himself.
