Monday on The Chad Hasty Show, political commentator Matt Mackowiak joined the show to talk about Trump, Clinton, events, polls and campaigns in the upcoming general election.

Mackowiak and Hasty discussed the firing of the Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, and what it means for Trump's run. Mackowiak gave his impression on Trump's dropping poll numbers and what is brewing for the Republican convention.

About Trump's slumping poll numbers, Mackowiak said,

In the Washington Post/ABC News poll [Trump] had 70% un-favorability. We've never seen that among a major party nominee, not even at the end of the campaign when all the negative attack ads have been run.
