Matt Mackowiak Discusses Wendy Davis’ New Campaign Challenge [Audio]

Monday on the Chad Hasty Show, GOP strategist Matt Mackowiak discussed Texas elections and candidates.

Mackowiak talked about the effects of Wendy Davis' revealed biographical facts on her campaign in the race for Governor. He noted the negative impact these truths would have on the Davis campaign. He suggested, "Ultimately, the best messenger in a campaign is always the candidate. At least it starts that way." He noted the release of these facts could harm Davis' fundraising efforts. Mackowiak believes money raised can be an accurate indicator of how well a candidate's campaign is doing.
