Matt Mackowiak Discusses 2014 Campaigns [Audio]

Matt Mackowiak

Monday on the Chad Hasty Show, Matt Mackowiak, GOP strategist, talked about progress made in 2014 election campaigns in Texas.

Mackowiak talked about a fundraising report that will be completed this month. The report will allow observers to see who is getting money and where it may be coming from. Mackowiak said, “You are going to learn a lot about a lot of candidates.” Who is making donations can be important in the press, and can be indicative of who is supporting various candidates. The report also makes visible what candidates are doing with the money received.

Mackowiak  talked about the race taking place in Dallas. Representative Pete Sessions is being challenged by Tea Party favorite Katrina Pearson. Ted Cruz praised Pearson, though Mackowiak does not believe Cruz will get involved in the race, but will focus on non-incumbent Senate races across the country.
