A Hale Center man is dead after a one-vehicle crash on Friday morning.

Texas DPS Troopers were called to the scene on I-27 in Hale County at around 9:50 a.m. Friday.

According to DPS, 61-year-old Mark Allan Reagan of Hale Center was driving north in a 1994 Mercury sedan when he lost control and went into the center median.

Reagan over-corrected and skidded across the northbound traffic lanes, and his vehicle overturned in the east ditch.

He was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the car. Reagan was pronounced dead at the scene by Judge Davis of Hale County.
