A Central Lubbock home was broken into while the owner was out of town, when she and her son returned they found their most prized possessions stolen, including her husband’s ashes and items that were intended for a stillborn grandson.

Janey and her son found that a TV, jewelry and purses were also missing and have filed a police report. Janey reached out to the culprit and said, “You can have all the crap, the material stuff because if it means that much to you, you can have it. I can replace that eventually but my husband’s ashes and my grand baby’s things. What do you want those things for? What could they possibly mean to you,”

There are currently no suspects in this case, if you have any information call Crime Line at 741-1000.
