Man Leads Lubbock Police Department on Hunt in Lubbock

A traffic stop turned into a manhunt today in Lubbock. Sean Wilson led Lubbock Police officers on a foot chase after abandoning his vehicle in east Lubbock.
The chase began when a DPS trooper attempted to pull Wilson over on I-27. Wilson pulled off of the interstate, into the parking lot of an auto shop, and abandoned his vehicle. He then fled into an area filled with trailer homes and assorted business buildings.
Police searched for Wilson for thirty minutes with the assistance of a helicopter; however they could not locate Wilson.
