A man was killed in Houston after a chase with police.

According to the Harris County Constable’s Office, the man had been running from police in a car chase that exceeded 100 mph.

After wrecking the car the man ran into a nearby store.

A Harris County Constable Sergeant located him later in the back area of the store and ordered him to stand and raise his hands.

The man instead crouched and moved aggressively towards the officer with something in his hand.

The officer shot the man, who died.

It is uncertain if the man was holding a weapon.
