Man Identified in East Lubbock Fire Over the Weekend

The victim discovered at an East Lubbock apartment fire has been identified. 56 year old Lee Andrew Dial, Jr. was discovered at the Starlight Apartments by the Lubbock Fire Department.

They responded to a call at 12:37 a.m. on Saturday in the 2300 block of Fir Avenue in East Lubbock at the Starlight Apartments and discovered Dial in Apartment 7.

Cause and manor of death are still pending. Evidence at the scene of the blaze indicates that the fire was unintentional and witness statements corroborate the evidence found at the scene.
