Man Drowns in Fort Hood Lake, Saves Daughter

A man has drowned in central Texas after being thrown from a horse. Albert Gonzalez and his 5-year-old daughter were riding a horse in a shallow area of the lake near the shore of Nolan Lake. It is believed the horse encountered a sudden drop off and panicked. Investigators say Gonzalez managed to push his daughter to safety, however he was unable to make it to shore.
