The man authorities say opened fire killing one woman at a Texas courthouse earlier this month has been charged with murder.

41-year-old Bartholomew Granger was also charged with three counts of attempted capital murder, four counts of kidnapping and one count of aggravated assault.Eight of the nine charges carry maximum life sentences.

Granger was on trial for sexually assaulting his daughter when the shooting rampage occurred. He injured three people and killed 79-year-old Minnie Sebolt. He’s being held in a Jefferson County Jail under $4 million bond, and has no listed attorney.
