On Thursday (Jan. 25), a Lubbock man accepted a plea deal after he was arrested for Conspiracy to Distribute Fentanyl.

KAMC News reports 32-year-old Steven Forcum was arrested last November after police discovered that he was getting Fentanyl shipped to him from China. He said that he was selling around one kilo every two months.

Forcum admitted that 27-year-old Peyton Wilson was one of his accomplices. Wilson was shot by Lubbock Police in 2016 when they showed up at his home with a search warrant and police noticed he had a gun.

In addition to the federal drug charge, Forcum is also accused of a parole violation.

Forcum will be sentenced at a later date to no more than 20 years in prison.
