On Monday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show, political analyst and Washington Times columnist Matt Mackowiak joined Chad to discuss current events in Washington, D.C. and in Austin.

Mackowiak and Hasty discussed progress on health care reform and the Obamacare repeal front, the upcoming testimony of former FBI director James Comey in the Senate Intelligence Committee hearings regarding possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, as well the status of property tax reform in the state of Texas.

About the much anticipated testimony of Comey, Mackowiak said,

The Comey testimony is hugely significant. My guess is it probably is in that middle range where it's not a win for the White House, but it's not a complete win for Democrats either.
