On Monday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Washington Times columnist and political analyst Matt Mackowiak joined the broadcast to discuss all the big news and events in Washington D.C as well as in Texas.

Mackowiak and Hasty talked about the continuing chaos that is the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation, and the rapid pace at which conservative voters are losing patience with Republican Senators.

About the accusations being made against Kavanaugh by the left, which lack any credibility, and the willingness of Republican senators to allow the delays to continue, Mackowiak said,

I am just so frustrated that they're willing to attack a good and decent person who's lived a good and decent life for fifty or fifty five years, all for a political end. This is why people hate politics, it's why good people don't go into politics. And the media playing along, and not being an honest broker, an independent fourth estate in this country, it is exactly why Trump got elected, it is exactly why Trump probably will be reelected, and it is exactly why two-thirds of the country distrust the media.

Also in the discussion was the first debate between Republican Senator Ted Cruz and challenger Beto O'Rourke.
