On Monday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show political strategist Matt Mackowiak joined the broadcast to talk about the latest news and events.

Mackowiak and Hasty discussed the Supreme Court vacancy being created by the announced resignation of Justice Anthony Kennedy, the replacement process and who President Trump might nominate for the seat, as well as last weekend's protests held in many cities across the nation over ICE and border issues, as well as the state of the Democrat Party.

While speaking about the Supreme Court vacancy and the ideological struggles that will occur in selecting Kennedy's replacement, Mackowiak said,

We're going to have probably the biggest political battle in my lifetime over the next three months. It's going to be unbelievable how much money is going to be spent, how aggressive both sides are going to be. But ultimately the Republicans, I think, are holding the cards here.
