Lutheran Women’s Missionary League to Hold Octoberfest Saturday

An area women’s religious organization will hold a fundraiser this weekend.

The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League will hold their Octoberfest Fundraiser on Saturday, October 20^th, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The event will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, located at 2221 Avenue W.

The LWML helps to support Christian ministries across the world, including care for orphans, providing help to children and pregnant women in need, and food for the hungry.

The event features a menu of Klemke’s regular and jalapeno sausage, German potato salad, sauerkraut, green beans, German chocolate cake, rolls, coffee, tea, and lemonade. To-go boxes are available as well.

Tickets for Octoberfest are $8.75 for adults and $4.50 for children.
