Flatland Collector Car Auction Boasts ‘Fast & Furious,’ ‘Real Steel’ Movie Vehicles [Photos]
It's not every day you can bid on a car used in a blockbuster Hollywood film. At this weekend's Flatland Collector Car Show & Auction in Lubbock, you can actually bid on two.
The Lucra sports car that rapper Ludacris used in Fast & Furious 6 and the big International Sightliner truck Hugh Jackman drove in Real Steel are both being sold at Saturday's auction.
Jeff Allen, host of MSNBC's "The Car Chasers," acquired the two vehicles, which will be up for auction alongside dozens more vintage and new cars. In addition, Allen will also be auctioning a '94 Chevy Suburban driven by Texas-born actor Ron Ely, who played Tarzan on TV.
The Flatland Car Collector Car Show & Auction is this Saturday, June 13, at 1122 E. 34th St. in Lubbock. Doors open at 9 p.m., and bidding starts at 10 a.m. Allen recommends getting there a little earlier to avoid the crowds.
More information on the event is available at the group's official Facebook page.
