A repeat offender was arrested for a sex crime last week in Lubbock. Thirty-five-year-old Patrick Wong has a record of crime spanning back to 2001, which includes indecency with a child.

Wong was arrested on August 9 and charged with two counts of online solicitation of a minor for sex.

KAMC News reported that Wong was taken in after being lured in by a sting operation. Wong thought that he was talking to a 14-year-old girl on the internet for most of the summer. He even asked her for explicit photos, say police. Wong began to send the investigator messages of an increasingly sexual nature, stating that he is into incest and also said: "You have no idea how perverted I am."

A warrant for Wong's arrest also says that he was given a polygraph test and admitted he had met a 13-year-old female child online and received oral sex from her on Texas Tech property.

A woman stepped forward and met with KAMC News to tell them about how Wong had exposed himself to her back in 2001. The woman was admittedly happy that he had been arrested, but worries that he may have abused other children over the years.

"I just felt like it was time, after seeing [Wong arrested again], it made me think how many chances is somebody like him gonna get before something's done," the woman told KAMC News, adding: "How many people does he have to emotionally scar?"

As of Tuesday evening, Wong was still being held in custody at the Lubbock County Jail in lieu of a $200,000 bond.
