A Lubbock woman went back to her house this morning, only to be attacked by two males inside.

55-year-old Debbie Hill returned to her home around 11 a.m. today, and two males accosted her. During the struggle, one of the intruders shot Hill in the leg, and both escaped from the home in the 5900 block of 72nd Street.

Hill, who received non-life threatening injuries, was taken to University Medical Center for treatment.

Police believe that Hill walked in while the men were burglarizing the home, and describe the attackers as young Hispanic males, who were wearing ski masks and black hoodies.

Nearby Frenship ISD schools Oakridge and Crestview Elementaries were put on low-level lockdown for some of the morning, but the lockdowns were lifted this afternoon.
