A woman has died in a southeast Lubbock wreck.

KAMC-TV in Lubbock first reported on this story earlier Thursday. The two car wreck happened around 10:30 this morning at MLK and the Slaton Highway.

Lubbock Police say Little Alma Chambers, 78, was driving one of the two cars and had a heart attack after the wreck and was taken to University Medical Center where she later died.

The other driver is in UMC as well, but is in good condition. Police say that Chambers failed to yield to the right of way and crashed into the other car.
