The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help in locating the man suspected of shoplifting from a convenience store and then assaulting an employee.

On Saturday, March 29th, a suspect entered the Valero Fast Stop at North Frankford Avenue and the Clovis Highway.

He reportedly took a fountain drink and other food items, and left without paying for them.

A female Fast Stop employee attempted to stop the suspect at the side of the store, and the suspect reportedly assaulted her before riding off on a red spray-painted Huffy-style bicycle.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, standing 5’8” to 5’10” tall, last seen wearing a black and white hoodie sweatshirt and black pants.
