Lubbock Residents Reflect on Favorite Memories of Dad [Video]

Father's Day is this Sunday, June 21, and I asked some of the people we work with to share their favorite thing or memory about their dad and what they enjoy most about being a dad.

Father's Day is a great day for some who have wonderful fathers. For some, though, it's a time of regret for broken relationships, of sadness about dads that have passed on or who have not been in their kids' lives at all or very little.

Here's hoping the majority of you reading this have wonderful fathers. And if you don't or didn't, that at least you have a positive memory or two to carry with you.

If you have a dad who has passed on, I understand full well that the pain never goes away; it just gets easier.  My hope and prayer is that this Father's Day will be a sweet time to remember the good times with your dad.
